"Capeta" animation is based on the manga published by Kodansha. It is created by Masahito Soda, the author of another renowned manga "Firefighter! Daigo of Fire Company M". "Capeta" won the Kodansha Manga Award for shonen in 2005.
The Life of Capeta changed one day when his father brought back some junk parts home and constructed a mighty little racing cart. During a test drive, Capeta found his cart having serious deviation from running a straight course. However, this did not affect Capeta much and he eventually caught up with the fastest cart on track, leaving it behind in dust. Driver of that cart was Minamoto Naomoi, the champion of the East Japan Junior Cart, who later recommended Capeta to take part in the official race…
