"Pokémon" has earned worldwide popularity since it was remade from electronic game into TV animation in 1997. As of today, thirteen series of the anime have been aired in Japan and nearly five hundred of pocket monsters have been introduced. Among all of the pocket monsters, leading character Ash's pal monster Pikachu is so well received as nationally beloved pet across whole Japan.
The title shows linkage between game and animation by using “BW” but holds meaning of “wishing best of luck to Ash and Pikachu's new Journey” in the new location, Isshu Region. A new land, new rivals, new challenges, and all-new Pokémon make the 14th season of the Pokémon animated series one of the most exciting ones yet!
When Ash and his mother accompany Professor Oak to the distant Unova region, Ash discovers Pokémon that he's never seen before… and that he can't wait to catch! He may have Pikachu at his side together with new friends Iris and Cilan, but he'll still need plenty of new Pokémon on his team if he wants to challenge Unova's expert Gym Leaders.
